BNI 2024 KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP

This annual event was first held in 2020 and now features multiple chapter's names embossed for eternal glory on the BNI Championship trophy.

Every BOP chapter is invited to book an evening at Bay Karts for their group to experience the fun of go-kart racing. We will customise this evening to suit the size of your chapter. Depending on numbers, this could also be opened to partners by negotiation. No kids though sorry.

How does it work?

Over a period of 2 weeks (dates/times TBC), every chapter can reserve a time for their exclusive private event. Claim it as a BA5.

This is a great activity in & of itself, but will also serve as 'practise' so you can pick a team of three drivers to represent your chapter in the championship race.

Championship Race

About 2 weeks later (dates/times TBC) after all chapters have had their practise night, we will host the main event.

Teams will race a 60 minute endurance race with multiple pit stops, where you must change drivers each time. (Bathurst 120) 

This produces an element of strategy on when to pit. Each driver will have multiple 'stints' on track, allowing drivers to mix it up against members of other chapters.

A maximum of 10 teams can be entered and only one team per chapter.

All members of the three podium placed teams will get Bay Karts medals to take home. The winning team will get their chapter name engraved on this years shield on the BNI trophy.

Chapter members and partners are invited to attended this event to support their team, the more cheering the better!. 

All drivers must be current members of that chapter, no "ringers" allowed. 

What does it cost?

Practise night is $49 per person (usually $69)

Championship race is $150 per team ($50 per person, 3 driver team) Usually $220.00
